The International Marine Sports Federation cancels the third round of Formula 2 boats
San Nazaro – Italy on September 2/ WAM/ The International Marine Sports Federation canceled the main race for the third round of the Formula 2 World Championship, which was scheduled, on the “Bo” river in the Italian city of San Nazaro, due to the disturbance of water currents.
The fourth and fifth rounds of the tournament will be held next October in Portugal.
The “Best Time” race, before the main canceled race, witnessed the champion of the Abu Dhabi team for the fast boats Rashid Al -Qamzi, with his second place on the Abu Dhabi Boque 1, while his colleague Salem Al -Yafii came in the eleventh place on the Abu Dhabi boat 36, in his first participation.
The technical staff of the Abu Dhabi team confirmed that these results are a strong motivation to enhance confidence and aspirations for the contestants before the upcoming rounds of the World Championship, to compete for the first places.
