The Emirates Beach Rowing Team participates in the Asian Championship in China
Dubai, September 4/ WAM/ The Emirates Federation for Place and Modern Rowing announced the participation of the national team in the Asian Beach Rowing Championship, which is hosted by the Chinese city of Zuboshan during the period from September 8 to 14.
The national team represents eight players and players: Ahmed Khamis Al Hammadi, Hamad Amer Al Shamsi, Hamad Abdullah Al -Hosani “Al Hamriyah Club”, Yahya Fadel Al Hammadi “Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club”, in addition to Fatima Khalaf Rabie, Shams Sultan Al -Shiriyani, Mira Al -Alami, and Bushra Ibrahim Qadri “Sharjah Sports Club for Women.”
The technical and administrative staff includes Sayyid Ali Daham, Sarah Jinan, and the administrator Hajar Bashbash from the Sharjah Sports Club for Women.
Today, the team concluded its external camp in Tunisia, which lasted for two weeks in preparation for the tournament, after a series of intensive training, while the new participation comes after the positive results achieved by the team in the Asian Beach Rowing Championship in Thailand in early August, where the two players Hamad Amer Al Shamsi and Hamad Abdullah Al -Hosani won the fourth place in the individual categories and young husbands under 19 years.
Abdullah Al -Obaidli, Secretary -General of the Emirates Federation of Place and Modern Rowing, stressed that this participation constitutes an important station in the development of the level of players in the beach rowing competitions, especially with the inclusion of the game within the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics program, indicating that the federation is keen to prepare and qualify its players for the upcoming international competitions.
