Abu Dhabi, on September 5/ WAM/ The seventh edition of the Asia Continental Championship for the Abu Dhabi Association for the Jujitsu Professionals, in the Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City, was launched today, amid enthusiastic atmosphere and wide participation of the elite players and players from different countries of the world. It continues for 3 days in various Sunni groups.
The first day was devoted to the categories of professors and amateurs, and the Emirates Champions succeeded in providing strong offers and high technical levels, which crowned 52 colored medals, by 24 gold, 14 silver, and 14 bronze, which reflects the great readiness and advanced skills enjoyed by the Emirates players.

His Excellency Youssef Al -Batran, a member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Federation of Jujitsu, stressed that the seventh edition of the AFC Championship constitutes an important station on the map of the global Jujitsu championships, and said that the great demand for participation reflects the development of the tournament at the international level, and embodies its continuous success in consolidating the position of Abu Dhabi as the global capital of Jujitsu, and its largest developer in the world.
He stressed that the presence of this large number of players from different continents is evidence of the growing confidence in the organization and professionalism, which distinguishes the tournaments of the Abu Dhabi Association for the Jujitsu Professionals.
Al -Batran pointed out that the tournament is of special importance as it gives the winners of the first places with rating points of 1400 points, which contributes to enhancing their chances of competition for the Abu Dhabi International Prize, which is the highest awards in the game in the world.
He added that the UAE Champions have proven today again that they are responsible, and they succeeded in representing the state in the best way through high -end performance and great discipline within the rug and expressed his confidence in their ability to continue to shine during the next two days, especially in the categories of buds, cubs, young people, youth, and adults and explained that they demonstrate on every occasion that the future is a missionary for jujitsu sport in the country.
