Abu Dhabi, September 6 / WAM / The “Falcon Mevan”, which was held within the activities of the twenty -second edition of the Abu Dhabi International Fishing and Equestrian Exhibition, achieved total sales of one million and 668 thousand dirhams, in order to sell 41 falcons during six attendance auctions that were held so far, according to a statement issued by the exhibition.

The auction activities continue at the ADNEC Abu Dhabi Center, amid a wide presence of heritage lovers and falconers from inside and outside the country, and the event, which is one of the most prominent heritage auctions in the region, witnesses a great expansion this year to include six attendees and an electronic auction that continues throughout the exhibition days.

The auction displays a group of the finest hawks from the “Pure -Shaheen – Al -Hur” categories, representing the best 46 local and international farms.

The organizing committee holds about 1,000 falcon, classified and displayed at the auction, while providing comprehensive introductory cards for each bird that the participants can view through interactive tablets to obtain an accurate and integrated vision about the specifications of the hawks offered.

The achieved results reflect the great demand and high competitiveness among the participants, and confirms the prestigious position that the auction enjoys as a heritage and commercial platform that combines quality and cultural identity, and attracts the elite of bidders from inside and outside the country.
