Kalba Festival for short plays honor Abdul Hamid Al Balushi
Kalba on September 8 / WAM / Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, the Department of Culture organizes the twelfth session of the Kalba Festival for short plays, during the period from September 26 to October 2.
The festival aims to refine and highlight theatrical talents, and the activities of its new session are held at the Cultural Center and the Kalba Association for Folklore and theater, and it celebrates the Emirati theatrical, television and media artist Abdel Hamid Al Balushi, in appreciation of his artistic career and his efforts in the field of acting.
Al -Balushi expressed his happiness with this honor, and raised the highest expressions of thanks and gratitude to the shrine of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, the generous supporter of the theatrical movement, which thanks to His Highness’s care in a prominent Gulf and Arab position.
The festival will publish a book that documents Al Balushi’s biography and testimonies about his artistic path, and a dialogue session will be organized with him in the presence of the participants and guests of the festival.
