The arrival of the ninth Emirati aid plane to Afghanistan

The Joint Operations Command announced today, the arrival of a new humanitarian aid plane in Afghanistan, bringing the total number of Emirati aid aircraft since the beginning of the crisis to 9 aircraft loaded with urgent relief materials.

This comes in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and within the relief air and sea bridge from the UAE to support Afghanistan in dealing with the repercussions of the earthquake and standing by the Afghan people in these difficult circumstances.

The UAE Ambassador to Afghanistan, Issa Al Dhaheri, met at Kabul International Airport, Mr. Mawlawi Sharaf Al -Din Muslim, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Reconstruction and Development of Villages for Planning and Policy Affairs and Chairman of the Aid Receipt and Management Committee in Afghanistan, in the context of strengthening the continuous humanitarian efforts of the United Arab Emirates to support brothers in Afghanistan.

During the meeting, the latest developments related to the earthquake’s repercussions were reviewed, as the Ambassador affirmed the UAE’s commitment to stand by the friendly Afghan people until it exceeded these difficult humanitarian conditions.

Al -Dhaheri said that the UAE will continue to provide humanitarian and shelter aid through an air and sea bridge, pointing to the efforts to provide aid from the local market to ensure the speed of its arrival and cover the urgent needs of the affected people.
