Dubai, September 9 / WAM / The Association of Professional Fighters “PFL” announced the organization of a new version of the “Road to Dubai World Martial Arts”, mixed on October 3 in “Coca -Cola Arena” in Dubai, with the support of the Dubai Sports Council and the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai.
It leads the championship competitions, a global match that is expected for the lightweight title that brings the Dagestan champion Othman Nurmada Mohamedouf, who has a “19 victories”, with his Irish rivals Paul Hughes 14 wins against two defeats, in the face of a revenge after their first meeting in the last version that Dubai hosted last January.

The tournament includes 11 match with the participation of a group of the most prominent international fighters.
The event was announced in a media meeting today at Nad Al -Sheba Sports Complex in Dubai, in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum bin Jumaa Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alpha MBM Investments Company, the strategic partner of the Association of Professional Fighters, President of the Emirates Rajabi Federation, and Issam Kazim, Executive Director of the Dubai Tourism and Trade Marketing Foundation of the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, Issa Sharif, Director of Sports Events Department In the Dubai Sports Council, the two world champions, Normodov and Hugos.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum, in a statement to the Emirates News Agency “WAM” that Dubai hosting such international events reflects its pioneering position and its ability to organize the major championships thanks to its human and material capabilities, which made it a major destination for martial arts lovers around the world.
“These tournaments contribute to enhancing the professional infrastructure of sports, and expanding the scope of international championships that attract the most prominent fighters, as well as support sustainable sports investments and empower promising talents,” he said.
He pointed out that the great success achieved by the last version was a motivation to establish the new version amid an increasing global momentum, stressing the importance of investing such events in supporting sports and encouraging small generations, in light of the spread of various sports centers in Dubai and the UAE in general.
For their part, the nullity, Othman Nurmahmadov and Paul Hughes, expressed their happiness to participate again in Dubai, and their aspiration to fight a strong fight in a distinctive atmosphere, stressing their desire to resolve the challenge in favor of each of them.
