The Hamdan Bin Mohammed Photography Award concludes its 14th session

Dubai, September 10/ WAM/ The General Secretariat of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Award for Photography “Heiba” announced the completion of the arbitration work of the 14th session titled “Power”, after evaluating more than 87 thousand pictures provided by more than 50 thousand photographers from all over the world.
The winners are scheduled to be announced next November.
His Excellency Ali Khalifa bin III, Secretary -General of the award, stressed that the jury, which includes various photographic experiences, has successfully completed its work, indicating that the award is keen to preserve privacy and equal opportunities, so the disclosure of the arbitrators ’identity is postponed until the completion of the arbitration operations.
He praised the high legal awareness of the photographers, as the ratios of the posts that violate the intellectual property laws decreased, which reflects a positive response to the recommendations of the continuous award.
“Heiba” published a group of inspiring images winning Instagram competitions for the year 2025, which included “environmental” axes, “imprint of a human” and “children”.
Among the most prominent was the image of Bahraini photographer Zakaria Omran (@zakariya_omran, winner of the “Environmental” competition, and a picture entitled “All Feelings of the World” within the axis of “children”.
All the winners of the award’s appreciation medal received, and their photos were shown via the official account on Instagram (@Hipaae.
It is noteworthy that “Heba” is one of the leading international awards in the field of photography, and aims to develop photographic skills and enhance the role of the image as a civil communication means, embraces various categories and axes and provides an educational and creative platform for photographers around the world.
