The Head of State arrives at El Alamein on a fraternal visit. His Highness and the Egyptian President discuss strengthening cooperation relations between the two countries
Alamein, July 12 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, discussed with his brother, His Excellency Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt today… fraternal relations and various aspects of cooperation and joint work to develop it in all fields in a way that serves the common interests of the two countries and brings goodness and development to their two brotherly peoples.
This came during a meeting between His Highness the Head of State and His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in the city of El Alamein on a fraternal visit by His Highness to Egypt.
His Highness and the Egyptian President also discussed developments in regional and international issues of common interest and exchanged views on them, most notably the developments taking place in the Middle East region and the efforts made in this regard.
During the meeting, His Highness and the Egyptian President affirmed their keenness to continue consultations on various issues in light of the common challenges facing the region, which require strengthening cooperation and joint action to maintain its security and stability.
His Highness the Head of State arrived earlier today in the city of El Alamein, where His Highness was greeted at the airport by His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt.
During the visit, His Highness the President is accompanied by a delegation that includes: His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Zayed Al Khair Foundation, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, and a number of ministers and officials.
