Launched Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority, in conjunction with the seventh anniversary of the start of its work, a platform "crossing"It is a specialized digital platform concerned with automating and governing procedures for issuing transit permits Digital transformation in the work of the Authority.
The Authority explained that the platform contributes to unifying procedures for receiving and studying transit requests, and accelerating their electronic processing, in addition to enhancing the reliability and accuracy of data, in accordance with national regulations and relevant international obligations and agreements.
Nuclear and radiation security
It indicated that the platform "crossing" It supports electronic integration with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, in order to achieve effective operational integration, enable the exchange of data related to the transit operations of controlled materials between the two entities, and raise the efficiency and reliability of the regulatory procedures associated with transit operations.
The Authority confirmed that the launch of the platform embodies its orientation towards developing its regulatory tools and promoting digital transformation in its services and regulatory procedures, which contributes to raising the readiness of the national system for supervising the transit of nuclear and radioactive materials, and enhancing the efficiency of oversight.
