المملكة: Saudi Scouts explores the natural history of Indonesia in the Boujour Park

He visited a delegation The Arab Scout Association Saudi Arabia, participating in the International Jambouri of the Muslim Scout 2025, is located in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, in the National Scout camp in Sibobor, the famous plant park in the city of Boujour, as part of a series of cultural and historical activities accompanying the activities of the global scout camp.
The visit comes within the framework of celebrating the hundred years since the founding of “Bonduk Modern Dar Al Salam Gontur”, which is organized by the Dar Al Salam Contestor Institute for Modern Islamic Education, the International Islamic Union of Scouts and Youth (WIUSY), and the Movement Scouts Indonesian, where Al -Jambouri seeks to highlight the dimensions of cultural and environmental diversity and enhance cognitive exchange between the participating delegations.
The botanical garden in Boujour is one of the most ancient Natural monuments in Indonesia, as it extends over an area of approximately 87 hectares and includes more than 15 thousand species of rare and varied plants, which made it a leading scientific and tourist center at the region level. During the tour, the scout delegation was briefed on the history of the garden that extends for more than two hundred years, and the unique plant groups, in addition to its role as an environmental and plant research center and a tourist and cultural landmark that attracts thousands of visitors from around the world.
This visit constitutes a qualitative addition to the Saudi delegation, as it strengthened their knowledge of the value of biological diversity and the importance of preserving it, as well as its contribution to enriching their cultural experience during their participation in this global scout event.
