Sharjah beat Al -Jazira at the opening of the Etihad Basketball Cup

Sharjah, on September 15/ WAM/ The defending champion Sharjah, started its career in the Etihad Men’s Basketball Cup, by beating Al-Jazira 87-53, in the first round of the first group competitions in the championship that started, today, with the participation of 8 clubs.
The first round witnessed the establishment of three other games, as Al-Batnah defeated Al-Dhafra 108-60 in the same group, while Al-Ahly youth defeated Al-Wahda 115-50, and victory over Al Wasl 78-63 in the framework of the second group matches.
The championship competitions will be held in the league system from one round on the stadiums of the highest ranking in the last season, with all clubs qualifying for the quarter -finals that are held in the knockout system.
