Family and Child Protection Center in Sharjah: The family in the Emirates is blessed with security and stability
Sharjah, September 16 / WAM / Fatima Al Marzouqi, Director of the Family and Child Protection Center at the Department of Social Services in Sharjah, confirmed that the family on the land of the UAE is blessed with security and stability thanks to the comprehensive system to protect and care for it, which is provided by the rational leadership for everyone residing on the state’s land, without discrimination.
This came on the occasion of the Gulf Family Day, which falls on September 14 of each year, and aims to shed light on the importance of the family’s role in building and enhancing their cohesion.
Al -Marzouki pointed out that the great interest in the family in the country is embodied in the creation of a ministry concerned with it, and the launch of a “family protection policy” in 2019, as well as the 2025 declaration of society, which reflects an integrated vision to enhance the role of the family in development.
She pointed out that the tools supporting the family are available, including the free line (800700), which receives communications and provides support for various nationalities, stressing that care is not limited to citizens, but also includes all residents.
Al -Marzouki warned of the negative impact of some of the content of social media, especially what is broadcast by non -specialists, calling on families to refer to reliable sources and approved awareness platforms, such as the “Society” platform.
She emphasized that adhering to religious and moral values is the main pillar of family protection, calling for an intensification of awareness programs to reach various groups of society and enhance their awareness.
