Athletes in the sport of bodybuilding revealed that their primary desire to develop the health aspect and get rid of excess weight was the first motivation for entering this sporting field, while others expressed their desire to own a consistent body and prominent muscles as a major reason for their exercise, some of them indicated that they took from their fathers or friends as an example for them to enter this field, to become later regular players in the practice of the game that requires a lot of time And patience to reach the desired results.
The athletes assured «Emirates Today» that the championships, which have been organized in the Emirate of Fujairah for nearly 25 years without interruption, contributed greatly to the development of the game and the discovery of a large number of players who have become the backbone of the Emirati national teams, in addition to players from the resident communities.

A member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Federation for Bodybuilding and Fitness, Faisal Al -Ghais Al -Zaabi, said that the game federation is constantly keen on developing coaches, directing players, paying attention to the arbitrators, and creating multiple competitive opportunities, helping players to continue to play the game, which confirms the pivotal role of the federation committees in preserving this mass sport, which is widely practiced in more than 1,000 sports halls in the country.

For his part, the coach of the national team, Zuweid Salmin Al -Zaabi, stressed that the Emirates Bodybuilding Federation supervises the organization of several international championships during the current season, most of them in Dubai, including the global Fujairah championships, and said that the UAE team is one of the most prominent teams at the level of the International Bodybuilding Federation, and he benefited a lot from these tournaments until it became full of talents, and indicated that the Fujairah Championship is considered a basic support The national team, indicating that the bodybuilding player needs patience in training and competitions, and that he will be practiced under the supervision of a specialized coach, and in integrated gyms, in terms of training and qualification elements.
Gate to the world
The former world champion and the current coach, Mass Moussa, explained that the Fujairah tournaments are one of the strongest championships at the level of the Emirates and the world, especially after it became of a global nature, and he said that he started playing the game with the aim of enhancing his health, in addition to his desire to obtain a consistent and beautiful body. He advised young people to focus and not to rush, stressing that the desired result comes with patience and perseverance. He added that Fujairah championships are the strongest in the Middle East, and his gateway was to the world.

For his part, the player Hamad Mohamed explained that his upbringing in a family interested in building bodies, especially his father and affiliation, was the motive behind his entry into this field, and pointed out that this sport provided him with great benefits, the most prominent of which is his relief from the extra weight that reached 120 kilograms, before he benefited from the experience of the global champion Mass Moussa, and stressed that “building body” greatly changed his life, but he stressed that not everyone who practices the game becomes hero The overall is a useful sport for public health, and patience and endurance are the most prominent title.

For his part, the former player and international referee, Mohamed Great, who lived with bodybuilding for more than 40 years, stressed that this sport has witnessed a tremendous development in most of its aspects. He gave advice to young players to practice them calmly and not to rush, with the need to invest modern technologies in training, and see everything related to the game, especially with regard to proper nutrition. He explained that this sport needs awareness and culture in its practice to achieve success professionally.
