Dubai Police warns of fake links to sell global village bouquets

In the context of its continuous efforts to protect community members from falling victim to electronic fraud operations, Dubai Police warned of the spread of fake links via the Internet and social media, promoting the packages of the great figures for the new “Global Village” season at attractive fake prices for the purpose of luring the victims and seizing their money and data.

Dubai Police confirmed that this fraudulent method is repeated annually, and causes victims to these fake ties, noting that the fraudsters resort to cloning fake pages similar to the official pages to deceive individuals.

The General Command of Dubai Police stressed the need to purchase tickets and packages for the global village through the approved official channels only, whether through the village website or its smart application or the authorized sales outlets, stressing that these are the only safe ways to ensure the rights of the public.

Dubai Police also called on members of society to be careful, not to drive behind fake offers that spread through unknown ties, and immediately report any suspicious attempts through the “E-CRIME” platform or through the 901 call center, to contribute to reducing these crimes and protecting community members.
For its part, the Global Village announced that the official and exclusive portal for selling packages for its new season is the Coca -Cola Arena website.
