52 participants in the opening of the monthly tournaments for “Citizen Golf”

Tomorrow, Saturday, at the Saadiyat Golf Club Stadium in Abu Dhabi, the opening round competitions from the “monthly tournaments” season for citizens will be launched, and the first sports season is 2025-2026 for the Emirates Golf Federation.

The opening round records the participation of 52 players and players of different age groups, including the stars of the national teams, and the veteran players, in addition to promising elements of the players participating in the pioneering national program of the game Federation for preparing emerging talents.

The Emirates Golf Federation affirmed its keenness to continue to organize these monthly tournaments regularly, and include them in the official local classification, because of its importance in refining talents and enhancing the spirit of competition between the players, as well as being an important station to assess the level of performance and preparations for the upcoming entitlements.

The President of the Emirates Golf Federation, Major General Abdullah Al -Sayed Al -Hashemi, expressed in a press statement, his confidence that the current version of the tournament will be more competitive, as it comes after a series of achievements achieved by the national teams last season at the external level, in addition to the fact that the opening round comes after the return of the players and players of the national team from their external camp that was held in Morocco, and like an important preparation station before the start of the new season.

Al -Hashemi said: “We are keen in the golf federation to share the junior, causes and buds in all official championships, including (the monthly championship), within the framework of a long -term strategy aimed at building a strong base of citizens, of different age groups.”
