"Abu Dhabi Arabic Language" Organize "Al Ain Book Festival" Next November

Abu Dhabi, September 22 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center will organize, during the period from 24 to 30 November, the fourth session of the “Al Ain Book Festival”, in the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium “Al Ain Square”, and a number of the most prominent cultural sites in Al Ain; To provide visitors with an integrated cognitive and cultural experience that celebrate the book, the arts of narration, poetry, and creativity.
The festival continues to consolidate the position of the eye, a distinguished destination for cultural and literary events, through a rich program with interactive activities, which are inspired by the cultural memory of the city, and evoke its authentic values; To address different groups of society, support the culture of reading, and put the Emirati family at the heart of their interests.
The festival is a platform to celebrate the Emirati writer and writers, and highlight talents in all forms of creativity; It has become an annual occasion that highlights the bright cultural face of the city, and connects its ancient past with its bright future.
His Excellency Saeed Hamdan Al Tunaiji, Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center, said that Al Ain Book Festival continues its success within the center’s vision to create effective practical applications for the concept of contemporary creative industries; To benefit from the potential of this concept to enrich the cultural identity.
He added that the festival will become a prominent model in how to draw the components of Emirati culture in creative products that celebrate the Emirati writer and writer, support the publishing industry, celebrate young talents, and address all segments of society.
Al Tunaiji pointed out that this year’s session of Al Ain Book Festival adds with its various programs, a special dimension of the activities of the community campaign to support the sustainable reading launched by the center last February and continue until the end of the year, targeting the perpetuation of reading usually sustainable within the fabric of daily life, enhancing the concept of sustainability in the culture sector, and enhancing the presence of the Arabic language as a language of innovation, creativity, science, and arts.
The festival presents in its new session a variety of integrated events that are inspired by the cultural memory of Al Ain, literary, artistic and intellectual activities designed to suit all groups of society, in order to enhance the festival’s position as a comprehensive knowledge forum.
In its new session, the festival also continues its distinguished initiative, “Nights of Poetry, the Single Word”, which is in line with the UAE’s interest in its heritage of folk poetry, which reflects the identity of the Emirati heritage, its authenticity, and its aesthetics, and represents in its linguistic extension, a treasure that supports the Arabic language and its culture, and needs to enhance its presence within this framework until its usefulness prevails, and its goal is achieved; It is the transfer of civilizational and intellectual heritage to new generations to the language, music and singing holder.
The festival confirms through its various activities its commitment to consolidating the Arabic language is an essential pillar of the Emirati identity, and contributing to achieving the cultural vision of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi by organizing qualitative activities according to the finest international standards, which reflects the state’s position in the international cultural scene, and promotes the presence of the city of Al Ain, a vibrant bridge that links heritage and contemporary creativity.
The previous session of the festival, which was held in 2024, witnessed a remarkable turnout from publishers and the public, and attracted more than 260 participating requests, an increase of 73% over the previous session, in which about 200 exhibitors presented more than 100 thousand titles, along with more than 200 cultural and literary events that targeted all groups of society, which established the festival’s position on the map of the most prominent cultural events in the country and the region.
