"National Human Rights" Her seventh visit to workers’ housing in Umm Al Quwain is organized

Umm Al -Quwain, on September 24 / WAM / The National Human Rights Authority organized an inspection field visit to a worker residence in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain, as part of its periodic visits to follow up the conditions of workers, and ensure their enjoyment of their rights guaranteed by national legislation, international covenants and agreements on human rights.

The delegation of the commission, Muhammad Al -Hammadi, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Commission, was chaired.

This seventh visit comes as part of a comprehensive plan that covers all the emirates of the state, to consolidate a human rights culture, and to enhance partnership with all concerned parties.

During the visit, the authority’s team held a series of side meetings with a number of workers residing in the housing; Where he listened to their observations and interventions related to the living conditions and the work environment, with the aim of directly evaluating the situation on the ground, and providing recommendations and proposals that would support and promote workers’ rights in the state.
