The United Nations confirms its willingness to cooperate with the American authorities in events during President Trump’s visit

A United Nations spokesman said, in a press statement, that the Secretary -General informed the American mission that he had already ordered a comprehensive investigation into these events, and that the organization was ready to cooperate in full transparency with the relevant American authorities in this matter to determine what caused these incidents that the United States refers to.

On Tuesday, the UN spokesman, Stephen Dujarric, sent a statement in response to journalists’ questions about “the electric ladder incident related to President Trump and the first lady.”

Dujarric said that a photographer from the American delegation ascended the ladder and his face was heading to the bottom of the moving ladder to document the arrival of President Trump, and that it is possible that the photographer had caused the safety function in the ladder unintentionally, which led to his sudden stopping during the rise of President Trump and his wife.
