Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities launches a series "Poem"

Abu Dhabi, September 25/ WAM/ The Emirati Identity Center at Mohammed bin Zayed University of Humanities launched a literary series entitled “The Poem of the House” to highlight the flags of Nabati poetry who contributed to the consolidation of the cultural and national identity of the UAE, and the introduction of new generations to their creativity that formed the conscience of society and its collective memory.
The series was launched with a symposium that highlighted the march of the able poet Ahmed bin Ali Al -Kindi and his creations as one of the flags of the Emirati Nabati poetry, through an interesting literary dialogue with his son, the poet and researcher Ali bin Ahmed Al -Kindi, the present was linked to the cultural heritage and the most important stations in his father’s poetic experience that reflected the originality of the Emirati society and the wealth of his cultural environment.
The “Poem of the House” series comes within the efforts of Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities to achieve its strategic priorities aimed at deepening awareness of national identity by offering cognitive and cultural initiatives that enhance societal affiliation and adopt bridges between generations to know students with the symbols of folk literature and embody its commitment to its mission in preserving the Emirati cultural heritage and enhancing its presence in society.
The series includes a diversified literary program that continues throughout the year that includes dialogue sessions and field visits to a number of poetic and literary symbols in the country, and concludes with the issuance of a author documenting these symbols that the university dealt with throughout the series, to be a reference that preserves its course and establishes its impact.
