"National Bonds" divorce "Financial clinic"

DUBAI, June 2, 2017 (WAM) – National Bonds, the Sharia-compliant savings and investment company in the UAE, announced the launch of the “Financial Clinic”, a digital platform that aims to enable individuals and employees to clearly assess their financial situations and make saving and investment decisions based on practical understanding and accurate analysis.
According to a statement issued by the company, the platform contributes to enhancing financial well-being by directing the user towards more appropriate options that help him reduce the risk of default.
The launch of the “Financial Clinic” comes within National Bonds’ strategy to enhance digital services and solutions, raise the level of financial culture, consolidate the foundations of sustainable financial planning, and make financial information clearer and available to everyone and consistent with the trends of the Year of the Family in the UAE.
The platform allows users to conduct a quick and comprehensive assessment of their financial health electronically via a special website, allowing anyone to conduct the assessment easily, at any time and in any place, thus reinforcing the concept of periodic financial examination as an essential first step before making any saving or investment decision.
During the pilot launch phase, more than 1,700 people completed a financial health assessment through the system, representing more than 15 government and private entities, and the results revealed that 89% of participants had a high level of discipline in repaying debts, while the age group between 36 and 45 years recorded the highest participation rates.
The “Financial Clinic” allows government and private institutions and agencies to provide simplified and systematic programs to evaluate and support employees’ financial health, by providing digital assessment tools and analytical reports that help understand the most prominent financial challenges and areas for improvement, in addition to specialized awareness workshops in the areas of saving, debt management, and financial planning.
Rehab Lootah, Executive Vice President of the National Bonds Group, said: “At National Bonds, we believe that financial stability begins with understanding, and that every individual deserves to feel reassured about his financial future, and in the Year of the Family, we affirm our commitment to supporting financial well-being, an essential pillar of family and community stability, by enabling individuals to make informed financial decisions based on clear foundations. From this standpoint, the launch of the “Financial Clinic” came to be a practical and simplified tool that helps users accurately understand their financial situations, and reduce debt burdens when need, and reduce the risks of stumbling through early diagnosis of areas for improvement, which enhances their confidence in their decisions towards a more stable future.
The Financial Clinic seeks to transform financial culture from a reaction to a proactive practice based on continuous evaluation.
