"Agriculture": The implementation of 470 guidance activities and a symposium in the presence of more than 7 thousand farms within a week
The Central Administration for Agricultural Counseling at the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation announced the supervision of the implementation of an intense package of indicative activities to support farmers and advance strategic crops, which included 470 counseling activities and a symposium that benefited more than 7 thousand farmers, specialists and a guide within a week. Agricultural Dr. Amal Ismail, this comes in implementation of the directives of Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and under the supervision of Dr. Adel Abdel -Azim, head of the Agricultural Research Center, and Dr. Alaa Azouz, head of the agricultural counseling sector, and in coordination with researchers, members of research institutes, national campaigns at the Agricultural Research Center, and the general departments of guidance in the governorates. And agricultural specialists, included a group of specialized seminars, the days of harvesting and field harvesting, with the aim of transferring the latest innovative agricultural practices for farmers directly in the fields, where 5 seminars were held in the governorates of Fayoum, Beni Suef, Minya, Sohag and Qena, about crop intensification, in addition to 3 days of harvest in the governorates of Gharbia, Sharqia, and Dakahlia, in the presence of about 120 farmers and agricultural experts Noting that 3 seminars on the advancement of sugar cane, in the governorates of Luxor, Aswan and Qena, attended by 45 farms, to enhance the practices of cultivation of the crop. Good for cotton crop, in the governorates: Dakahlia, Kafr El -Sheikh, and Beheira, in addition to 3 days of genie in the governorates of Damietta, Port Said, and Dakahlia, attended by 120 farmers. Continuing the field follow -up teams and implementing indicative meetings in farmers ’gatherings to determine the state of crops and awareness of good agricultural practices.
