ADNEC Group won 4 prestigious awards in the Sustainability Awards in the Gulf 2025

Abu Dhabi, September 26 / WAM / ADNEC Group, one of the “Modon” companies, won four distinguished awards during the Sustainability Awards in the Gulf 2025.

The group won the gold award for the best use of renewable energy, the golden award for the best sustainable product, the bronze prize for the best circular economy model in addition to the extraordinary contribution award in achieving sustainability, which was won by Ahmed Al -Obaidli, CEO of Operations at the Denik Abu Dhabi Center.

This achievement embodies the great progress made by the group in the areas of lowering carbon emissions and the adoption of circular innovation through its facilities, activities and services, within the framework of its strategic commitment to achieving climate neutrality by 2045.

In the field of clean energy, the group won the gold prize for the best use of renewable energy for the solar panels project on the surfaces of the Denic Abu Dhabi Center, with a production capacity of 5 megawatts peak, covering about 30% of the center’s annual electricity needs through clean sources.

The project is expected to contribute to reducing electricity emissions by approximately 6,000 tons annually, making it one of the leading projects in the events sector at the level of the Middle East and North Africa.

The Denik Group has won the golden award for its innovative product “Tiratil”, which was developed in cooperation with “Tex”. This product is a pioneering model in the sustainable floors solutions for events and is fully manufactured by the waste of the recycled exhibitions, as each slab contains more than five kilograms of materials repaired.

“Tiratil” contributes to reducing waste and achieving financial savings by the possibility of reusing it multiple times, in order to enhance the experience of exhibition visitors and organizers alike.

The group also won the bronze prize in the category of the best form of the circular economy for the full circular design of “Tiratil”, as it can be installed, removed and renovated more than 100 times, and at the end of its life cycle it is recycled to produce new tiles, which reduces dependence on raw materials and reduces waste and establishes the principles of the circular economy in the exhibition sector.
