The United Nations Office for Humanitarian Affairs praises the humanitarian role of the “Faris 3” operation in Gaza

A delegation from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) visited the UAE field hospital in the Gaza Strip, where he was briefed on the extensive humanitarian efforts provided by the UAE through the “Al -Faris 3” operation, in light of the catastrophic conditions in the population, and the delegation also made a field tour inside the departments of the UAE field hospital.
The delegation included Susanna Takalik, Deputy of the Human Resident Coordinator in Palestine, Taher Ibrahim, Head of the OCHA Office, and Oga Cheyvco, a spokesperson for Ocha, and the attendees listened to a detailed explanation about the relief initiatives implemented by the process, which includes supporting the health sector with medicines and medical supplies, providing shelter tents for the displaced and providing various parcels Support bakeries and taches, and launching major projects to provide water, the most prominent of which was the Emirati water line, which benefits hundreds of thousands of residents of the Gaza Strip.
The delegation also praised the prominent role of the “Faris 3” process in supporting the most affected groups, and supporting thousands of displaced families by providing urgent relief assistance and programs that reduce their daily suffering.
At the end of the visit, the “Ocha” delegation stressed that what the UAE offers through this process is the largest human support to the residents of Gaza, noting that the continuation of these efforts sends a message of hope amid the unprecedented human circumstances that the sector is going through.
This visit came as part of a series of visits by the UN delegations to the UAE field hospital in the context of following up and supporting humanitarian efforts.
