The start of the Abu Dhabi International Basketball Championship 2025

Abu Dhabi, September 29 / WAM / The team gaming hall in Al -Jazira Club was launched today, the Abu Dhabi International Basketball Championship competitions, with the participation of 8 of the most prominent Arab and Asian clubs.

The championship competitions – which are held sponsored by ADQ and support for the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and under the supervision of the Emirates Basketball Federation, and the organization of Al -Wahda Club in cooperation with Global Activ Sports – until October 5.

At the start of the start, Astana Kazakhsani defeated the Kuwaiti Qurain 101-58.

The organizing committee had held the technical meeting of the championship at the Al -Wahda Club headquarters in the presence of representatives of the clubs and the relevant committees, and the regulations and final lists were approved for the players and the mechanism of objections, in addition to emphasizing the application of the international federation systems “Fiba”, while the official shirts of the participating clubs were presented and the details of the technical aspects were approved.

The tournament includes a group of prominent names in the world of basketball, where the Lebanese Sports Club participates in a strong squad led by the coach of Lebanon, Ahmed Fran, and the Americans include Beren Bouford and Morris Camp, along with veteran Ismail Ahmed.

As for the Sharjah team, it is led by coach Abdel Hamid Ibrahim and depends on a mixture of international players such as the British Cavill Begi-Williamus and the American Charles Matteo, along with a group of Emirates international team players.

Al -Dhafra team is playing the championship under the leadership of coach Ali Litley with five American players, most notably Jacob Tyron and Divantte Movit, along with a group of local players led by Abdullah Al -Humairi and Ahmed Al -Zarouni.

As for the Al -Wahda team, it is supervised by coach Nidal Bakri, and it includes the American trio Antoine Vigins, Nicholas Ryan and Patrick Lavon, along with a group of local talents such as Saif Al -Wahhabi, Zayed Al -Maraikhi, and Ghaith Al -Suwaidi.
