Abu Dhabi Water Sports … a qualitative transmission in programs and tournaments

Abu Dhabi, October 5/ WAM/ The Abu Dhabi Water Sports Club has succeeded since its foundation in 2022 under the umbrella of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, in consolidating its position as one of the leading sports institutions in the Emirates and the region, combining the organization of local and international championships, and making a new generation of heroes who are able to represent the state in major forums, led by the Olympic Games.
The establishment of the club came to form a new tributary of the Abu Dhabi march in the field of investment in the sports sector, and to enhance its presence as a global center for sports excellence.
The club works according to a clear strategic vision based on 3 main programs that include the spread of sports culture and swimming education, training and training of teams, and community programs, as it offers an integrated water games system that includes swimming, water ball, free diving, artistic swimming, swimming in open water, underwater hockey and swimming with two.
Through its various programs, the club is keen to involve different age groups, and those with determination in training programs, educational camps and workshops, in order to enhance the spread of a culture of exercise and serve the sports community in general.
The club is preparing to organize the swimming tournament Cup in finances next November, in addition to hosting the World Cup swimming in the two skills in the same month, which reflects the confidence of the international federations in Abu Dhabi’s capabilities to organize major events, while the club is awaiting an upcoming participation in the 2026 Masters games in the capital Abu Dhabi as its most prominent future stations.
The club previously organized the Abu Dhabi International Swimming Championship “Sawim Four Life” and was able to achieve 45 colored medals by 14 gold, 12 silver and 19 bronze, as part of a wide competition that witnessed the participation of a thousand swimming and swimming from different countries of the world, including prominent Olympic champions.
The club continues to enhance the UAE’s position on the global map of water sports, armed with a clear vision, specialized cadres, and promising athletes who are preparing to write new chapters of success.
Hussein Shawky is one of the most prominent stars of the club after he succeeded in the Arab Championship in Morocco in breaking the record of the 50 -meter free swimming race, recording 22:88 seconds, to win the gold medal in the youth category, and its position as one of the most promising Arab talents.
In addition to the competitive achievements, the club focuses on the societal side as a basic pillar in its message, as it organizes many societal races, and gives the opportunity to people of determination to be part of the scene of water sports.
Hamid Ibrahim Al -Huti, president of the Abu Dhabi Water Sports Club, said that the achievements achieved by the club confirm the success of its strategy in preparing champions who are able to compete at the highest levels.
He referred to direct coordination with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council in order to convert water sports into a solid community culture, and to graduate heroes who raise the Emirates flag in the Olympic and international forums.
He stressed that the achievements that were achieved during the last period, most notably the achievement of the records for a number of swimmers of the club in the Arab Championship in Morocco, and won 45 medals in the Abu Dhabi International Championship, is the fruit of long -term planning and an investment in the human element, especially in small age groups, pointing out that the club is preparing to host major competitions such as the World Cup swimming in November, and the upcoming participation in the Masters games 2026.
For his part, Ali Khalil Al Hosani, Vice -Chairman of the Board of Directors, said that the club will continue to achieve achievements according to a clear strategic vision that focuses on qualifying promising heroes in water games, and attracting more of them.
He added that the password in recent successes was the great focus on developing technical cadres, as the club attaches great importance to the continuous qualification of coaches and administrators from national cadres and former water games champions through workshops and specialized courses focusing on the application of the latest international curricula in training.
He stressed that the programs presented by the club not only target the champions, but also include all groups of society, including children and people of determination, to find an appropriate environment that supports the practice of water sports for all, pointing to the participation of 30 swimmers from the owners of anxiety in the Swim Four Life races during the last period, which is one of the most important achievements of the club because it embodies human and sports values.
Hussein Shawky swimmers of Abu Dhabi Water Sports and the national team said that all the achievements that were achieved during the last period put him and his colleagues in front of a major responsibility in order to continue to distinguish at all levels, whether with the club or the national team, pointing out that the support of the great club contributed to achieving these achievements.
