The UAE team participates with 5 players in the Asian Championship and the Hadi Golf Championship

Dubai, October 6 / WAM / The Emirates Golf Federation announced the participation of 5 players in the 16th edition of the Asian Championship and the Al -Hadi Amateur, which Dubai will host at the Council of the Emirates Golf Club from 23 to 26 October, in the largest Emirati participation in the history of the championship.
The national team list included the players Ahmed Skik, Rayan Ahmed, Abdullah Kalbat, Jonathan Silfraj, Wissam Mawlan, who will lead the Emirati challenge in the Grand Championship, which belongs to the country for the second time after the 2021 edition of the Dubai Golf Club and Yakhut Club.
This came during the press conference held today at the Emirates Golf Club in the presence of the national team’s players.
Ahmed Skik is participating for the sixth time in the tournament before moving to professionalism, and he is one of the most prominent Emirati golf players, while Sam Mulan and Jonathan Silvrag participated for the first time in the tournament.
As for Abdullah Kalbat and Rayan Ahmed, they will go through their second experience after the previous participation in Japan.
The Asian Pacific Championship was launched in 2009 at the initiative of the Asian Federation and the Pacific Golf and in cooperation with the Old Royal Golf Club (R&A) and the Master Championship, with the aim of developing the golf game for amateurs in the region.
The championship winner gets a card to participate in the Master 2026 championship, and directly qualify for the British championship “The Open”, while Al -Wasfa gets the opportunity to participate in the qualified qualifiers, and the first three -place owners get cards that qualify for the British Amateur Championship.
