Kuwait crowns the title of the Arab Basketball Clubs Championship in Dubai

Dubai, October 6/ WAM/ Kuwait Kuwait team crowned the champion of the 37th edition of the Arab Basketball Clubs Championship, after its victory over the Lebanese Al-Hikma team with a score of 101-93 in the final match that they gathered today, at the Rashid Bin Hamdan Hall in Al-Nasr Club in Dubai, at the conclusion of the tournament in which 16 Arab clubs participated.
The final confrontation came strong and exciting, amid a large public presence, before Kuwait decided the second title in its history after its first crowning in 2022 at home.
Major General (M) Ismail Al -Qarqawi, President of the Arab Basketball Federation, in the presence of His Excellency Issa Hilal Al -Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, Abdel -Latif Al -Fardan, President of the Emirates Basketball Federation, and members of the Board of Directors of the Arab Federation, the Kuwait team in the cup and gold medals, and the Al -Hikma and Al -Arabi teams in the second and third places.
The Qatari Al-Arabi team, the defending champion, beat the Kuwaiti Kazma 83-80 in the match of third place in the current version.
Al -Qarqawi praised the great success achieved by the championship organizationally and technically, and the high levels presented by the competitions that reflected the strength of the competition, and congratulated the Kuwait teams and the wisdom of the distinguished performance throughout their career in the championship, appreciating the high level presented by the Kuwaiti team until the title was decided in its favor.
