Mansour bin Zayed presides over the meeting of the UAE competitiveness council and honors the winners of the “Enforcement” award in its third session

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidency Bureau and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Competitiveness of Emirati Cadres, headed today the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Council of Competitiveness of the Emirati cadres held in the Palace of Al -Watan in Abu Dhabi, where the Council adopted the strategic indicators of 2026, in addition to adopting the new strategic plan.

His Highness praised the efforts of the Council during the last period and the qualitative results and initiatives that aim to support citizenship cadres and enable them to work in the private sector, and His Highness said: “The program of competing with the vision of good leadership is embodied in empowering the people of the country and raising their readiness for the future, as it proved during four years of continuous work that investing in national cadres is the real bet to enhance the state’s competitiveness regionally and globally.”

His Highness added: “The national cadres will remain in the heart of our priorities, supported by qualitative programs designed according to the requirements of the labor market, and with effective partnerships that reflect our commitment to building a knowledge -led knowledge economy first. The new strategy of the Council will continue its efforts to provide an attractive and stimulating work environment based on flexibility and innovation.”

During the meeting, the Council reviewed the most prominent achievements of the “Nafs” program in four years, as the number of citizens working in the private sector reached approximately 154 thousand citizens, including more than 136 thousand since the launch of “Nafs”, as the number of facilities that employed citizens increased to about 30 thousand establishments.

After the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan honored the winners of the “Nafs” award in its third session 2024 – 2025, during the ceremony held at the Palace of Al -Watan, where His Highness expressed his appreciation to the award winners and partners who contributed to their efforts to support the goals of the Emirati cadres competitiveness, indicating that the “Nafs Award” embodies the vision of the rational leadership in promoting the participation of national cadres in the market Work, and encourage excellence and competitiveness in the private sector.

His Highness added that the award represents a platform to honor distinguished individuals and facilities that have succeeded in achieving exceptional achievements in the field of Emiratisation, and stimulating more Emirati competencies for active participation in the development process.

His Highness pointed out that honoring the winners reflects the state’s commitment to assessing distinguished efforts and enhancing a culture of excellence and innovation in the work environment, stressing that investing in national competencies is a basic pillar to achieve sustainable development and build a competitive economy based on knowledge.

His Highness also praised the pivotal role played by institutions and companies in supporting resettlement policies, by providing an attractive work environment that enables Emirati cadres to develop their skills and contribute effectively in various sectors.

The honor included 33 citizens who won the first positions in 11 sub -category, within the category of individuals, which included leadership, supervisory, medical, and health care functions, in addition to banking and financial jobs, insurance and professions associated with insurance, future functions, administrative, specialized, engineering and technical functions, as well as retail and customer service.

The names of 54 winner facilities were announced within the category of establishments supporting resettlement in 13 vital sectors that included the business services sector, the manufacturing sector, the trade sector and reform services, the real estate activities and construction sector, the health and social work sector, the hospitality and entertainment sector, in addition to the education sector, and the information and communication sector. It also included the banking, financial, exchange, insurance, and insurance professions.

The ceremony was attended by a number of ministers, members of the Board of Competitiveness of the Emirati cadres, members of the jury, and partners of the Strategic Enforcement Program.
