“Sipchem”: The start of operation of the methanol plant after completing maintenance work
Sahara International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) announced the safe completion of maintenance work for the International Methanol Company plant (one of Sipchem’s subsidiaries) and the start of operating the plant today, October 8, 2025.
The company said in a statement on its website "Saudi Arabia trading"During this shutdown of the International Methanol Company factory, the company completed maintenance work, which will have a positive impact – God willing – on the factory’s efficiency, raise the level of reliability, and reduce costs in line with the company’s future operational plans.
She indicated that the financial impact of this stoppage will be reflected in the results of the third and fourth quarters of 2025, noting that the company announced that it has taken all precautions. Necessary to avoid any impact of this suspension on the company’s obligations towards customers.
