Witkoff: We thank Egypt for achieving the Sharm El-Sheikh agreement regarding the Gaza Strip

The US Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, today, Thursday, thanked Egypt for its commitment to achieving the Sharm El-Sheikh Agreement on the Gaza Strip, stressing that US President Donald Trump is excited to come to Egypt next week and meet with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Witkoff and Jared Kushner, Senior Advisor to the President of the United States of America, indicated during Their meeting with the Egyptian President highlighted the strength and strategy of relations between Egypt and the United States, and they affirmed that President Trump appreciates the role of President Sisi in settling that crisis, and in the region in general, and also appreciates the friendship that unites him with President Sisi.
They reaffirmed the appreciation of the United States of America for the pivotal role that Egypt played in ending the war and restoring stability in the region.
