Operating the new artificial kidney unit at Kom Ombo Hospital
Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hadi, Director of the Aswan Health Care Authority Branch, confirmed the official start of operation of the new artificial kidney unit at Kom Ombo Central Hospital, with the latest approved technical and medical equipment and standards.
The Aswan Branch Director explained, during a press release issued by the Aswan Health Care Authority, that the operation of the new unit comes within the authority’s plan to develop health care services in the governorate and reduce the burden on patients from By providing integrated dialysis services near their place of residence, ensuring easy access to the service, its quality and its sustainability.
He added that the new unit includes 31 beds and a dialysis machine, in addition to dedicated rooms for patients, a waiting area, and a medical and nursing team trained at the highest level to provide the best possible care, stressing that this step reflects the authority’s continued commitment to achieving beneficiaries’ satisfaction. And improving the quality of health life for citizens in Aswan Governorate.
