The Minister of Youth and Sports witnesses the launch of the Fly In Egypt 2025 aircraft rally
Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, witnessed the launch of the activities of the fifth edition of the “Fly In Egypt 2025” international aircraft rally, which Egypt is hosting for the fifth year in a row, and is being held this year from Sphinx International Airport, with the participation of pilots and navigators representing 13 Arab and European countries, in an event that reflects Egypt’s advanced position on the map of air sports and tourism. International sports.
The festival will be held during the period from 10-18 October 2025 and is included in the schedule of rallies of the International Federation of Air Sports, in cooperation between Sky Sports and Flying Pharaoh, in cooperation with the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
The Minister was received by Major General Mahmoud Al-Sayed Qarmad, Deputy Director of Sphinx International Airport, and Ahmed Abdel Khaleq, Director General of General Administration. For sports events and tourism at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Dr. Yasser Al-Manisy, Rally Director.
The rally route extends from Sphinx International Airport, passing through a number of prominent cities and tourist attractions, where it will fly between airports (Sphynx – Luxor – Aswan – Abu Simbel – arriving at Hurghada International Airport), with the participation of 20 aircraft and more than 30 pilots. As a navigator, in a competitive atmosphere that combines the skill of flying with the pleasure of exploring the beauty of Egyptian nature from the sky, in support of the “Know Your Country from the Sky” initiative. Which was launched by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
During his speech, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, confirmed that Egypt’s hosting of this international event for the fifth year in a row reflects the great confidence enjoyed by the Egyptian state and its distinguished organizational ability in various sporting events, explaining that the Ministry is working in accordance with the vision of the political leadership to support sports tourism as one of the tributaries of economic development. Sustainable.
Explaining that the aircraft rally has become one of the prominent features in the calendar of sporting and tourism events in Egypt, and embodies the fruitful cooperation between state institutions in order to support specific sports and promote our tourism destinations through the sky. The Ministry of Youth and Sports is constantly working to provide all forms of support for these events because of the value they represent and a cultural message that reflects the security and stability of the Egyptian state.

While Dr. Yasser Al-Manisy, Director of the Rally, and all the participants thanked the Minister of Youth and Sports and the Egyptian State for facilitating the procedures and hosting the Rally for the fifth year in a row and all the efforts made that led to placing the Rally on the agenda of the International Aviation Federation.
