المملكة: "Shura Council Authority" It transmits a number of reports to its plenary sessions
The General Assembly was held for The Shura Council held its third meeting of the second year of the ninth session, headed by the Chairman of the Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh, at the Council’s headquarters in Riyadh.
In the presence of the Vice President of the Council, Dr. Mishal bin Fahm Al-Sulami, the Assistant to the President, Dr. Hanan bint Abdul Rahim Al-Ahmadi, the Secretary-General of the Council, Muhammad bin Dakhel Al-Mutairi, and the heads of the specialized committees; To consider the topics on its agenda.
During its meeting today, the Authority agreed to refer a number of reports related to the annual performance of a number of Government agencies Among them are the annual report of the General Authority for the Guardianship of the Funds of Minors and the like, and the annual report of the Saudi Export-Import Bank.
Memorandums of Understanding and Cooperation
The General Authority also referred during its meeting a number of draft agreements, memorandums of understanding and cooperation with a number of brotherly and friendly countries in several fields; In preparation for presenting it before the Council in one of its plenary sessions during the coming period.
It is noteworthy that the General Assembly of the Shura Council is responsible for developing the general plan for the Council and its committees, verifying the procedural aspects of the committees’ reports, and setting the agenda for the Council’s sessions, in addition to a number of other powers included in the rules and procedures of the Council’s work and its internal regulations.
