Philippines.. Earthquakes and the spread of diseases among students lead to the suspension of studies

The increasing number of diseases similar to Influenza among students and school workers, in addition to the recent series of earthquakes that struck various parts of Public schools throughout the capital, Manila, on October 13 and 14.

On the other hand, relief operations are underway in various parts of the Philippine island of Mindanao, as residents suffer from successive strong earthquakes that struck the island in recent days.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said: The earthquake, which occurred yesterday, Saturday, had a magnitude of 6.2, and occurred 28 kilometers northeast of Cajuet in Surigao del Sur, and authorities are still assessing structural damage in the affected towns.
