The Mufti of the Republic receives the Vice President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology to enhance joint cooperation
Research by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Nazir Muhammad Ayyad, Mufti of the Republic, Head of the General Secretariat of Fatwa Houses and Bodies in the World, today, Sunday, with Dr. Amr Farouk, Vice President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, enhancing joint scientific and research cooperation. By supporting scientific research and adapting it to serve societal issues, and employing its outputs to consolidate the values of awareness, science, and work in line with the Egyptian state’s vision of building human beings and developing their capabilities in an integrated manner.
The two sides also discussed a number of joint future projects, the most prominent of which is a project to produce a social, educational, awareness-raising cartoon series about the character “The Child Anas,” targeting Egyptian youth and working to develop the child’s thought. And upholding the system of values and morals through an innovative educational method that combines pleasure and knowledge.
His Eminence the Mufti of the Republic stressed that this cooperation reflects Dar Al-Ifta’s belief in the role of science and research in supporting rational religious discourse, explaining that the current stage requires concerted efforts between religious, scientific and cultural institutions to create an enlightened awareness that protects society from destructive ideas and contributes to building a strong homeland. Stable.
For his part, Dr. Amr Farouk expressed his pride in this constructive cooperation, praising the great role played by the Egyptian Fatwa House, stressing that the Academy puts all its capabilities into supporting initiatives aimed at building the Egyptian person and developing his scientific and moral awareness. At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides expressed their aspiration for a new phase of fruitful partnership that combines moderate religious thought and solid science, in order to serve the nation and advance Egyptian society.
