Shabab Al-Ahly eclipses victory over Al-Ittihad Jeddah in the opening of the “West Asia Super Basketball Association”.

The basketball team at Shabab Al-Ahly Club came away with a victory within reach, after losing to its guest, Al-Ittihad Al-Jeddah Saudi Arabia, with a score of (88-94), in a match that brought them together today, at the opening of the first group competitions, at the start of the fourth edition of the “Super West-Asia” League for the Gulf region.
Shabab Al-Ahly succeeded in ending the first quarter with a lead of (28-23), before Al-Ittihad Jeddah regained its balance by relying on a pressing defense, and gradually extended its dominance over the remaining stages of the match by (17-16, 25-23, and 30-21).
Shabab Al-Ahly will return, on the third of next November, to complete its matches in the first leg of the group league, by meeting its guest, Manama, Bahrain, while Al-Ittihad Jeddah will play its second match on the 27th of this month, by meeting its guest, Kazma of Kuwait.
