Health closes an unlicensed beauty center in Cairo run by someone impersonating a doctor

The Ministry of Health and Population announced the closure of the “Noun Al-Mahal” Center. Beauty Center, located at 15 bis, Al-Fariq Ali Amer Street, in Nasr City, Cairo Governorate, for violating the laws by practicing medical activity without a license. Non-governmental therapeutic treatment and licenses.

 

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the Ministry’s official spokesman, confirmed that the center was run by a woman impersonating a doctor and practicing the profession without a license, in clear violation of the laws. Large quantities of medicines not authorized for circulation were also seized, in violation of the Pharmacy Practice Law No. 127 of 1955.

 

For his part, Dr. Hisham Zaki, head of the central administration of non-governmental therapeutic institutions, explained that the center was inspected and the seized items were seized in cooperation with the Egyptian Medicines Authority, with a report on the incident drawn up to be presented to the Public Prosecution for action. The necessary legal procedures.

 

Dr. Zaki called on citizens to verify the licenses of medical centers and their employees before receiving any treatment services, stressing the continuation of oversight campaigns to ensure the provision of safe and compliant medical services. for standards.
