Health closes an unlicensed beauty center in Cairo run by someone impersonating a doctor
The Ministry of Health and Population announced the closure of the “Noun Al-Mahal” Center. Beauty Center, located at 15 bis, Al-Fariq Ali Amer Street, in Nasr City, Cairo Governorate, for violating the laws by practicing medical activity without a license. Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the Ministry’s official spokesman, confirmed that the center was run by a woman impersonating a doctor and practicing the profession without a license, in clear violation of the laws. For his part, Dr. Hisham Zaki, head of the central administration of non-governmental therapeutic institutions, explained that the center was inspected and the seized items were seized in cooperation with the Egyptian Medicines Authority, with a report on the incident drawn up to be presented to the Public Prosecution for action.
