A number of university students confirmed that adherence to traffic safety rules goes beyond being a legal requirement to become a civilized behavior that reflects the sophistication of society. A shared national responsibility that contributes to building a safe and sustainable homeland.
This came within the framework of their impressions following their participation in a workshop on Traffic safety, where they stressed the pivotal role of university initiatives in creating positive change that begins with individual awareness, pointing out that respect for traffic regulations is a culture that must begin from school.
Safety begins from awareness
Khaled Al-Alawi explained that participating in the traffic safety clubs workshop gave him a deeper understanding of the individual’s responsibility towards himself and others on the road, stressing that safety begins with awareness, and that Respect for regulations is a culture that must be established since school.
Fahd Al-Huwaiji stated that the workshop strengthened his conviction that adherence to traffic rules is not just a legal obligation, but rather a civilized behavior that reflects the level of society’s awareness, praising the experience of university clubs and their role in spreading awareness through influential youth methods.
Encouraging innovation and promoting National Efforts
Turki bin Muhammad pointed out that the interactive sessions and brainstorming opened new horizons for students to devise practical initiatives that contribute to raising traffic awareness inside and outside the university, adding that preventing accidents is a shared responsibility that begins with individual behavior.
Abdel Fattah Alaa El-Din stressed that the workshop constituted a rich experience that allowed him to learn about the national efforts made to reduce of accidents, indicating that commitment to traffic safety is a form of good citizenship and active participation in building a safe and sustainable society.
For his part, Misfer Al-Qahtani expressed his pride in participating in the workshop and making a presentation on the idea of the clubs and their goals, pointing out that activating the role of students in traffic awareness is a pioneering step that contributes to transforming knowledge into practice and daily behavior that reflects Awareness of the new generation and its responsibility towards its society.
