21 teams participated in the volleyball competitions in the Mansour bin Zayed Ramadan Championship" Al Wathba 2026"
Abu Dhabi, 3 March / WAM / The Emirates Volleyball Federation announced the participation of 21 teams in the competitions scheduled within the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Ramadan Championship – “Al Wathba 2026”.
Awad Al Mansouri, Assistant Secretary-General of the Federation, said that the tournament includes a momentum of sporting events that will benefit sports practitioners due to the great importance it represents on the health level in society.
He pointed out that including volleyball and allocating a beach volleyball court as part of the tournament’s activities achieves many important gains for the game, promotes an increase in its practitioners, and motivates them to join the competitions, especially since the atmosphere witnessed by the tournament in general during the month of Ramadan encourages all groups to join sports activities.
Al Mansouri explained that the organizing committee of the tournament made great efforts in preparing for it, providing the requirements for its success, and preparing the various sports facilities, which constituted an important motivation to join the events, with the presence of all family members within an inspiring vision in the Year of the Family 2026.
