The project supports vital sectors that have a direct impact on the lives of the beneficiaries, foremost of which is the agricultural sector, which represents a basic pillar of livelihoods and economic stability in Yemen, as the project was designed in response to in rural communities.
The project contributes to developing sources of income for families, improving the efficiency of resource use, enhancing the sustainability of livelihoods for pastoral families that depend on livestock raising, and developing the agricultural value chain links in an integrated manner for the beneficiaries, starting from improving agricultural inputs and raising the efficiency of irrigation techniques, all the way to enhancing the ability of farmers to achieve a better economic return.
The project will also contribute to moving the beneficiaries from low-return production to high-value production, and from limited income to Its development, which reflects positively on enhancing food security and societal stability, and pays special attention to the groups most in need, including families headed by women, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
