The Suez Canal Economy participates in the opening session of the Egypt Energy Conference
Mustafa Shaikhoun, Vice President of the General Authority of the Suez Canal Economic Zone for Investment and Promotion Affairs, participated as a keynote speaker in the opening session of the "Egypt Energy" conference. At its thirty-fourth session held at the Egypt International Conference and Exhibition Center in Cairo under the slogan “Accelerating innovation and flexibility across the energy sector value chain”; This comes within the framework of the Economic Zone’s endeavor to implement its green transformation strategy, as a pivotal partner in achieving Egypt’s Vision 2030, as the Zone aspires to be a leading regional and global center in the production and trading of green fuel and bunkering with it.
During his speech at the opening session of the conference, Mostafa Sheikhoun stressed the Economic Zone’s keenness to expand the horizons of cooperation with various partners, within the framework of continuing Its efforts towards localizing the green fuel industry and its complementary and feeding industries within the scope of the Authority.
He also reviewed the most prominent distinguished investment incentives provided by the region, which contribute to creating an attractive environment for investment in various sectors, especially in the green fuel sector. He explained that the unique integration between the Authority’s seaports and industrial zones represents a pivotal element that provides promising opportunities for developing integrated projects that support supply and production chains.
