Dr. Ahmed Naina is a sheikh for all Egyptian readers
Dr. Osama Al-Azhari – Minister of Endowments, issued a decision appointing the great reciter, Dr. Ahmed Ahmed Naina, as sheikh of all Egyptian reciters; In recognition of his long career in the service of the Holy Qur’an, which exceeded half a century.
The decision included the appointment of: Dr. Ahmed Nainaa – Sheikh of all Egyptian reciters, Sheikh Abdel Fattah Ali Darwish Al-Tarouti – Deputy Sheikh of all Egyptian reciters, Sheikh Mahmoud Muhammad Hassan Al-Khosht – Deputy Sheikh of all Egyptian reciters, and Dr. Gamal Jibril Farouk Mahmoud Abd Al-Rahim, former Dean of the College of Islamic Dawah – a member, and Dr. Abdul Karim Ibrahim Awad Saleh, Chairman of the Committee for Reviewing the Noble Qur’an – a member.
The Minister of Endowments confirmed that this decision comes as a culmination of the extended scientific and practical efforts of Dr. Ahmed Naina, who spent his life serving the Book of God Almighty, performing, teaching, and reciting Tajweed, and was an example of mastery, literature, and humility. And a source of inspiration for an entire generation of reciters and students of the Holy Qur’an in Egypt and the Islamic world.
For his part, Dr. Ahmed Naina expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Endowments for this precious trust, asking God Almighty to grant him success in carrying this great trust and to make his work sincere for his honorable face, and to perpetuate the blessing of security and stability in our dear Egypt. Under the wise leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Ahmed Naina is considered one of the most prominent reciters of the Holy Qur’an in Egypt and the Arab world. He was born in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate in 1954 AD. He memorized the Holy Qur’an at an early age, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Alexandria University, and began his radio career in the seventies of the last century, so his voice filled the ears of Muslims in The East and West of the Earth.
