Qatar national team qualifies for the 2026 World Cup

Doha, October 14 / WAM / The Qatar national team defeated our first national football team 2-1 today at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in the Qatari capital, Doha, in the first group competitions for the Asian playoff qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
With this result, the Qatari team qualified for the World Cup for the second time in its history, and our national team moved to the fifth round in the Asian qualifiers for the continental playoff.
