The British Minister of State for the Middle East praises the summit "Sharm El Sheikh for peace" He appreciates Egypt’s pivotal role
British Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa, Haymish Falconer, during his meeting today, Tuesday, with Ambassador Ashraf Swailem, Egyptian Ambassador to London, praised the “Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit” He stressed that it is an important historical moment that must be built upon.
The British Minister appreciated the pivotal role played by Egypt in mediating between the Palestinian parties, and its tireless efforts to achieve a ceasefire and reconstruction in Gaza.
During the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of relations between Egypt and the United Kingdom, and their common keenness to raise them to the level of a partnership. An integrated strategy that achieves the interests and priorities of the two countries, and also contributes to supporting stability and development in the region.
