المملكة: Al Khareef discusses promising opportunities in the steel industry with local and international companies
Hold Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, held bilateral meetings with leaders of a number of leading local and international companies in the iron industry, reviewing the promising investment opportunities in the sector, and the capabilities offered by the Kingdom to facilitate the investors’ journey, on the sidelines of the Third Saudi International Iron and Steel Conference held in Riyadh.
The meetings confirmed the vital role played by the Ironand steel to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in many strategic sectors, and the importance of developing it to meet the increasing demand for iron products driven by major development projects in the Kingdom.
Stimulating investments
The meetings reviewed the capabilities and incentives provided by the industrial and mineral wealth system to stimulate qualitative investments in the sector and empower investors, including It achieves the goals of the National Strategy for Industry and the Comprehensive Strategy for Mining and Metallurgical Industries.
These meetings, which were held in the presence of the CEO of the National Center for Industrial Development, Eng. Saleh Al-Sulami, come on the sidelines of the Third Saudi International Iron and Steel Conference, which was opened today by His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, as the conference brings together decision-makers in the sector, experts, and executives, along with representatives from more than 35 countries under one roof.
