Meals and “inflight entertainment” are free on “Tourism”

Flydubai reported that, starting next November, meals and the inflight entertainment system will be available free of charge to all economy class passengers, noting that this step comes within the framework of the carrier’s continued investment in developing its products and services, which reflects its commitment to putting its customers first and responding to changing market needs.

In a statement, Flydubai confirmed its continued investment in its fleet and products on board its aircraft, through a comprehensive modernization program for its fleet of new generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft, explaining that this program included Flydubai seats in business class that can be converted into flat beds, and new seats in economy class.

The company’s CEO, Ghaith Al Ghaith, said: “Redefining the economy class experience on all flights represents a major development in our business model, as we provide our customers with a more upscale and comfortable travel journey. Our focus remains focused on investing in improving the experience of our passengers and providing added value in various fields through services, technologies and product development.”

He added: “By listening to customer feedback and responding to changing market dynamics, Flydubai continues to strengthen its position as a major player in the aviation sector in the UAE and a vital contributor to Dubai’s vision to become a global center for trade and tourism.”
