Partnership between "Dubai Financial Centre" and"Institute of International Finance"

DUBAI, 16th October, 2020 (WAM) – The Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) announced the conclusion of a partnership with the Institute of International Finance to organize the opening of the Dubai Future Week for the Financial Sector, scheduled to be held in May 2026.
The announcement was made during the annual meeting of the members of the Institute of International Finance in Washington, DC, in the presence of His Excellency Issa Kazim, Governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre, Timothy Adams, President and CEO of the Institute of International Finance, and His Excellency Arif Amiri, CEO of the Dubai International Financial Center Authority, confirming the close connection between the Center and the Institute.

As a leading center for future financial services.
For more than a decade, the DIFC has been the home of the Institute of International Finance for the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region.
Through the partnership, the two institutions will work to lead the future of the financial sector, by enhancing global financial dialogue, developing policies, and advancing innovation.
As the strategic knowledge partner of Dubai Financial Week, the Institute of International Finance will play a pivotal role in expanding the event’s global impact.
The institute will contribute by providing qualitative content, specialized research, and global visions, in addition to organizing high-level discussion sessions that address legal and regulatory aspects, emerging issues, and promising international opportunities.

During the week, the DIFC will host a series of events that will bring together more than 40,000 senior leaders, investors, policymakers and innovators from around the world to discuss the most prominent trends and innovations that are reshaping the future of the financial sector.
Dubai Future Financial Sector Week includes a number of events held across the city, and the final touches to the week’s program are currently being finalized.
The Dubai FinTech Summit is the main event of the week, as its discussions will address vital topics such as artificial intelligence, digital assets, sustainable finance, emerging technologies, and other future sectors, contributing to strengthening Dubai’s position as a leading global center for innovation in the financial sector, and supporting the emirate’s vision of building a diversified and sustainable knowledge economy.
