Human Resources in Dubai reviews the smart military medical committee system in "GITEX 2025"

Dubai, October 16 / WAM / The Dubai Government Human Resources Department is participating in the GITEX Global 2025 exhibition, held in Dubai.

Its participation comes within the Dubai Government pavilion and under the umbrella of “Digital Dubai”, where it showcases its latest digital solutions and the latest developments in its innovative technologies in the field of human resources management, as part of its continuous endeavor to develop institutional work and enhance the efficiency of the services provided.

His Excellency Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of the Dubai Government Human Resources Department, said: “The Dubai Government Human Resources Department is constantly seeking to accelerate the pace of smart transformation in the government human resources sector, by adopting the latest digital solutions that ensure the enhancement and sustainability of operational efficiency, and support Dubai’s journey towards becoming the most prepared city to keep pace with the future. Our participation in “GITEX Global 2025” comes as an embodiment of our commitment. We are firmly established in harnessing modern technologies and artificial intelligence to develop the human resources system, as the solutions we are reviewing represent an extension of the vision of the wise leadership in building a flexible and integrated digital government that relies on innovation as a main approach, in a way that enhances performance efficiency and improves the quality of services provided to employees in the Dubai government.

During its participation this year, the department will review the electronic system for requests for sick leave and medical exemptions (the military medical committee system) supported by artificial intelligence, which is the result of cooperation and the shared vision of both the Dubai Digital Authority and the Dubai Government Human Resources Department, and the culmination of their joint efforts in the field of integration and interconnection in line with the principle of comprehensive digital government.

His Excellency Hamad Obaid Al Mansouri, Director General of Digital Dubai, praised this cooperation as a model that embodies one team at the Dubai government level, and said: “The Human Resources Department has always been one of the leading bodies in supporting the digitization process, and we appreciate their constant willingness to work with Digital Dubai as a possible entity for digital transformation, in order to raise the level of services and solutions supported by artificial intelligence. The military medical committees system is a distinguished model of what is possible.” It will be achieved when our efforts are united together, under the guidance of the wise leadership, to ensure that Dubai is one of the top 3 cities in the world.”

The system automates various medical committee procedures for workers in government agencies of a military nature, in order to speed up the performance of government work and enhance its efficiency. The system allows requests to be sent, reviewed and approved in an intelligent and interconnected manner, ensuring accuracy in processing, saving time and effort, reducing human errors, as well as enhancing transparency and improving the quality of services. It also provides a digital assistant enhanced with artificial intelligence to support the medical committee in reviewing and approving applications, in addition to interactive control panels that facilitate the decision-making process and its effectiveness.
