The Minister of Health of Djibouti receives the Ambassador of Egypt

Dr. Ahmed Roubla, Minister of Health of Djibouti, received Ambassador Abdel Rahman Raafat, where the Djiboutian Minister expressed his country’s thanks to the President of the Republic and the Egyptian government for the Egyptian contributions to support the health sector in his country, represented by sending Egyptian medical convoys in addition to providing training courses and grants to Djiboutian medical personnel in Egypt. The Minister also welcomed the Egyptian medical convoy scheduled to arrive in Djibouti in early November. 2025, which comes in implementation of the outcomes of the presidential visit to Djibouti in April 2025.
For his part, the Egyptian ambassador stressed the Egyptian state’s keenness to support the health sector in the sisterly Republic of Djibouti, praising the existing bilateral cooperation relations between the ministries of health in the two countries, in addition to the ongoing coordination between the Egyptian embassy and the Djiboutian Ministry of Health regarding the ongoing arrangements to receive the Egyptian medical convoy.
